Unknown Tracks#

This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: These tracks are listed as "unknown", so it might be used rarely

(Sound Test ID: 16)
A track possibly meant for Bobodori's stage (which in the final game... shares its theme with Utsujin). A version of this track with higher quality instruments plays in the Gallery on the remake, Hashire Hebereke: EX. (Sound Test ID: 13)
A track meant to play when winning. (Sound Test ID: 14)
A track meant to play when being on the last lap (respectively).

Region Lockout/Anti-Piracy#

The game runs two different checks to attempt to detect it is a pirated copy: being played on a PAL console, or not having exactly 2KB of SRAM. The latter check is performed by using address mirroring, writing a value to $700300 then a different value at $700B00 and comparing the two to ensure that the values are the same, which wouldn't if there wasn't exactly 2KB of SRAM. If any of these two checks passes, all button input will be disabled, making the game unplayable. The same method is found in O-Chan no Oekaki Logic.
