Farming Simulator 17 is a farming simulator. What did you expect?

Unused Code#

The file careerVehicles_mapTest is an almost empty file, containing only the following code:

<careerVehicles> </careerVehicles>

This was a vehicle spawn list for a test map, before all of its code was removed. There is no test map that can be found in the files. The spawn files that are used are named careerVehicles_map01 (for Goldcrest Valley) and careerVehicles_map02 (for Sosnovka).

Unused Textures#

texelDensity.dds is a map unit measurement texture, which might have been used in the aforementioned test map.

While not explicitly unused, triggerIcons_Diffuse.dds contains a unused telephone icon. This file is a remnant from Farming Simulator 15, which used phone booths as a help system and marked them with this icon. FS17 ditched this idea in favor of a help menu accessible at any time, leaving the telephone icon unused.
