Regional Differences#

Sistermon Noir's design and coloration bears a strong resemblance to traditional Catholic nuns. Due to this, according to Digimon video game producer Habu Kazumasa, Bandai considers it unfeasible to feature this Digimon in North American material due to religious sensitivities. As such, in the North American localizations of the Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth games and the Digimon Card Game, Sistermon Noir (as well its Awakened form) is totally replaced with Sistermon Ciel, who was originally created specifically as a replacement for it in the localization of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory.

References to Sistermon Noir's Holy Stigma were changed to "its mark", and Sistermon Noir's skills, "Mickey Bullet" and "Bless Fire", and the actual "Holy Stigma" support skill, were renamed to "Silent Bullet", "Fury Fire", and "Feral Power" respectively. "Mickey Bullet" was presumably renamed to avoid trademark infringement with the Disney character, Mickey Mouse.

On PS4 and PS Vita, this change affected only the North American version of Hacker's Memory; the European release was not impacted. However, this change was applied to all Western versions of Complete Edition, even though its original model can be easily restored by renaming or deleting the "DSDBA.[system].mvgl" file (although this won't affect the script changes).
