StagesLooking a lot closer to the final game already, Smog Sewer is absent and we get an early look at a reworked Flower Mountain Canyon.

Unused Boss#

Present out of bounds in Flower Mountain Canyon is an unused boss called 'Razor', this boss is a leftover from an older version of the stage, a bit of hacking is required to actually be able to fight it as the camera position for this boss normally defaults to an empty area above it, this was for some reason later fixed in the February 2016 demo.

The first phase of this boss reuses the first Horizon Heights boss theme from Sonic After the Sequel in every version of the game.

Internal Stage names#

With the reworks done on Flower Mountain City and Flower Mountain City some internal name changes have happened, this would be the last time these stages were internally renamed until after the Kickstarter

• Flower Mountain City and Flower Mountain Canyon are now referred to as 'NEW Park Zone' and 'NEW Tundra Zone' respectively
• Smog Sewer is still referred to as 'Swer Zone'
