Sonic Adventure Taikenban (ソニックアドベンチャー 体験版, which translates to "Sonic Adventure Trial Version") is a demo of Sonic Adventure that was available at Japanese retail stores during 1999.

Built March 3, 1999, just over two months after the game's original Japanese release, the demo seems to be mostly based on said version but has a few alterations that suggest development had already begun on the international versions.

Careful, you'll lose an eye.
