Autobacs Replay Theater

This article has a talk page!

This is a sub-page of Proto:Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec.

Offered in a promotion by Japanese auto parts stores Autobacs and SuperAutobacs, the Autobacs Replay Theater demo is also the oldest build of any Gran Turismo 3 demo barring Gran Turismo 2000, with a VOL and executable build date of September 25, 2000. The build itself is a rolling demo only, hence the Replay Theater designation.

This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: Start digging around whatever the demo's got. There's a lot of really weird things with this demo, especially since it's the oldest. Also post codes to make the demo playable.

General Differences#

  • The results screen (whose layout is used in all GT3 demos) showcases very basic names for most of the cars that aren't race cars. Interestingly, most of the race cars have names that describe their sponsorship, except for the Chrysler Viper GTS-R, which is simply referred to as "New Viper" in the results screen.
