This is a sub-page of Proto:Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

This prototype is documented on Hidden Palace.

As part of ObscureGamers' Terarelease 2.0 lot, an early build of the Xbox 360 version of CS:GO was released. This build contains features that were not available in the closed beta at the time as it is essentially an internal build, plus some other differences.

Startup Screen#

The console versions of CS:GO display a short animation before the main intro sequence. The pre-release Xbox 360 build has an early and slightly broken version of this screen.

Retail Release

Training Course#

This build contains the training course that would be found in the retail release. While the course itself is identical to the final version, the voicelines sound a bit more muffled and some lines differ.

Player Factions#

This build contains all of the factions that normally wouldn't be present in the closed beta.

Faction Voicelines#

This build contains the updated faction-specific voicelines that were included in the final release. This build also contains hundreds of voicelines that were cut from the final release. Among these are lines relating to bomb defusal maps for factions that normally would be on hostage maps (and vice-versa), taser pain sounds, and other interesting lines.
