This is a sub-page of Prerelease:Pac-Man World (PlayStation).

After Pac-Man World appeared at the E3 1998 event, but before it was at E3 1999, there was another version of the game seen in promotional materials that there isn't much information about. This version is generally referred to as the "numbered build", since all known images of it feature the level select debug numbers on the bottom-right of the screen. The first number represents the current level while the second represents the section or area which Pac-Man is in.

Additionally, the Pac-Dot icon in the HUD is now the same as the final version, while the score still has the font size of the E3 1998 demo.

The levels shown in this version are HMS Windbag, Barrel Blast, Ghostly Garden, Creepy Catacombs, Funhouse Maze #1 and Factory Maze #1.
