Sketches#

Differences#

  • Cops were meant to wear Kevlar vests like the S.W.A.T., and lighter blue tortoise-shell helmets with goggles attached to them, their eyes not being able to be seen.
  • Claude picks up a Glock-18 which was never implemented in the official game.
  • Hare Krishna's hairstyle is not like what is seen in the game.
  • A Russian Mafia goon's pants are light brown not red.
  • Weapons originally were too different.
  • Weapons in concept art were too different from what we saw on the final game's HUD. They were used in the HUD on an early design. Pistols had a Beretta style, RPGs were tidy, Uzi's were like Ak-47s, the Electrogun was also different.
  • Loonies wore red armour that is not seen in the game.
  • Scientists were white.
  • Jerkov was older.
  • Trey had a bald head.
  • Elmo has hair, he's not bald.
  • Rednecks wear normal clothing rather than blue uniforms.
  • The human scientists wear a black mask and goggles and have the same style as the final game.
  • S.W.A.T. would have been able to use the cut weapon Electrobaton and Shotguns.
  • There are a lot of unknown characters in concept art.

Renders#

All the sprites seen in the game were made in a 3D program.

Differences#

  • Benson is different than the final game.
  • Yakuza are topless with a Bat never implemented in the game.
  • Zaibatsus are bald.
  • Zaibatsu builders are too big.
  • Weapon renders aren't similar to what they look in the HUD in-game and there's a Silenced Pistol never implemented.
  • Claude is fully clothed, his hair slicked back and his clothing consists of a dark blue jacket with loose black jeans. His in-game sprite shows him wearing body armour or a sleeveless vest on his torso.
  • Trash is seen in the renders while it's not used in the game And some props were not implemented.
  • There's an unknown LAW enforcement seen on some of the artworks wearing a dark blue uniform, black goggles and a floppy.
  • Claude attacked Zaibatsu boxes like in the short videos.
  • The Z-type model in the render is similar to a Cop Car.
  • Some signs were not added in the game.
