Unused Interiors#

There are a total of 17 unused interiors where most of them are fully finished, down to working collision, graphics and exits! They go from t100i01 to t100i17, implying they're test interiors without any purpose. Why they were made are unknown.

Exiting out of the houses will take the player to the associated overworld map's default positions.

Unfinished Locations#

Original Springdale Underground Waterway (room id:t100d00)#

To do:
Get a render of the area's collisions? Also what about the exits, and get the map banner graphic.

The original Springdale Underground Waterway from the previous two games was apparently planned to return than being restricted to a singular area. While the area's model has been completely deleted, the collisions for it still exist along with the map banner graphic.

It's possible that the location may have planned to come back rather than being a limited area.

Infinite Inferno (From t103d41 to t103d48)#

To do:
Is there a way to hack the entrance to open?

For the entirety of the game, the doors leading to Infinite Inferno cannot be accessed, but if one were to use a save editor it can be accessible but the entire area, collisions and models, have been deleted, only leaving a black void. The song Infinite Inferno can still be heard.

t401d11#

Watch on YouTubeAn early version of Gloombell Forest. This design bears some similarity to the final version, both having a river dividing two sections but it has a Putasockinit walking around that cannot be interacted with.

t401d97#

Watch on YouTubeA flat test map full of vehicles from New Yo-kai City with some Blocks.

t401d98#

Watch on YouTubeAn unused and early Rafting Adventure map, it splits into two different paths, one leading to a void and the other to a cave. Breezy Hills is used as background music.

t401d99 (Pre-2.0.0)#

Watch on YouTube

An early test map for the Blasters T dungeons with sections separated by red lines. The map would be updated with a completely different style and format starting with 2.0.0 of Sushi and Tempura and Sukiyaki.

The map has a dungeon style that is not used in the final game but is quite similar in style to promotional images of the 2.0.0. update.

t407g00#

Watch on YouTube

An unfinished big area that was completely cut from the final game, that was supposed to be visited after Dukesville according to the location-naming scheme. The map appears to be a big city with skyscrapers, seaports, vehicles and a singular texture of the Statue of Liberty, implying the location was based off New York City before the inspiration was apparently reworked into New Yo-kai City.

Interestingly, there's an early steamboat model resembling the one in Northbeech, implying it was to serve as use to get there as a way of transport.

t692d10 (Unfinished Blasters T Map)#

Found between some Blasters T maps in the Version 2.0 update, is an empty red room with some clouds floating by. From the looks of it, this map is likely one of Enma's Palace dungeons but with no terrain loaded.

Test Maps#

Testmap#

A completely blank map without any collision and music, albeit with four horses and a shiny item pickup, though they cannot be interacted with. The NPC data for the map still remains.

Testmap2#

To do:
Compare with the final, also use this early artwork as a reference.

Watch on YouTubeA very early and unfinished version of St. Peanutsburg, with the layout almost matching that seen in the Level-5 VISION 2015 trailer. The map is smaller and consists of a singular large location that is completely connected to Northbeech and East Pine instead of being separated by sections like the final map.

The limited detail implies that it was supposed to be used in a cutscene, but there's a lot more out of bounds which are unfinished placeholder buildings, notably an early version of the church in East Pine and two roads not present on the final map, these connect to where the Hazeltine Mansion would be.

Testmapmask#

A simple map for testing texture overlay and masking. Watch on YouTube
