The Impossible Quiz Book is the third (and canonically last) game in the Impossible Quiz series, with 3 chapters, a new powerup, more questions, and cutscenes.
Initially, Splapp-me-do boldly declared that The Impossible Quiz 2 would be the final chapter of the series, with absolutely no plans whatsoever to make a third game. Naturally, this promise lasted until he released The Impossible Quiz 3, which turned out to be nothing more than an April Fools prank. To the surprise of no one and the delight of many, a large number of players fell for it, much to Splapp’s satisfaction. Sometime around late 2008 or early 2009, E4 Games got in touch with Splapp and presented him with an interesting and highly tempting offer to create a brand new game sponsored by them. Splapp accepted, and E4 Games proceeded to pay him an unknown but presumably shiny amount of money to develop what would eventually become The Impossible Quiz Book. Originally, the game was planned as a single Quiz featuring a grand total of 150 questions that players would have to endure in one long sitting. However, due to Splapp struggling considerably with development, particularly when it came to ideas, he and E4 Games decided to split the game into three chapters, each with its own theme, making the development softer and easier.
