The Getaway: Black Monday is the sequel to The Getaway, this time following the exploits of a cop, a boxer, and a budding hacker. Quite a crew.

Like the original game, Black Monday also uses licensed cars, but once again there are several vehicles that were seen in pre-release trailers and media that did not make it into the final game. Black Monday uses the same basename system as the original, with the addition of an added _G2 suffix. A vast variety of new types of vehicles were added such as boats, motorcycles, scooters and helicopters.

Regional Differences#

In the North American version of the game, there are two extra vehicles: a generic orange sports car and a New York City taxi, based on the Ford Crown Victoria. They can be found in front of the American Embassy in Grosvenor Square.
