Wherein Sega show off just how much they've been influenced by microcomputer games by introducing two exciting new elements to the world of Shinobi - a gigantic HUD that takes up half the screen, and a bizarrely low speed and framerate. Naturally, these went down with fans like a lead balloon.
A US release was planned and advertised, but ultimately never eventuated.
