Stage Select/Sound Test#

At the "Press Start" prompt of the title screen, quickly press Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Down, Left, Right, Up, Down, Left, Right, Select, Select, Y, B, Start.

Also, while in-game, pause and press Select to cycle through the game's music.

Regional Differences#

• The game was made more difficult in the international versions:
  • Enemies take more hits to kill.
  • The player's health meter no longer replenishes after completing a level.
  • Easy difficulty is now locked behind a cheat code (highlight Option Mode, then press Left, Left, Right, Right, B, B, Y, Y).
