Two John Rambos shoot up aliens. Unless you're playing the European version, in which case it's two Robocops.
Unused Enemy Behavior#
The Greeders have the behavior for ducking as a way to avoid getting shot. It uses the graphics for the legs recycled from the Ledder, hiding behind the sandbags present in Area 1 and 3. Unfortunately, the rest of the graphics no longer exists in the game (the example displayed in the screenshot shows the tiles overwritten by the helicopter's flashing weak spot). It can be seen in the game by modifying the Greeder's running state 02 to 03 in one of the RAM addresses 0670-067F.
The hidden gun turrets in the second part of Area 5 can be set to point to the right, even though they are only ever approached from the left. To see this behavior in action, change ROM address 0x9821 to 81 and approach the first turret.
The boss on level 5 has the ability to flash red, presumably when it's almost defeated. However, this functionality is never used.
The boss serpent on level 6 has 4 paths to choose from; however, only 2 of them are used. The image above shows the unused paths.
Unused Font#
An unused hexadecimal font is present in the ROM. The 0 is also sometimes used for padding.
Build Date#
Present at the end of the PRG ROM. Similar IDs are present in many other Konami games.

Due to German laws prohibiting the sale of violent video games to minors, the European version has many graphical differences.
Transport Chopper#
The helicopter that drops off the heroes was changed to look more futuristic. This change can also be observed during the ending, but the change is so tiny that it's almost imperceptible.
