Unused Music#
The Single-Player Course Select theme from the Arcade game. This game features a recreation of the Arcade game's Course Select menu in Arcade mode, but it instead uses the equivalent theme from the Multi-Player mode. As a result, this theme never plays. As an aside, this particular song has an unusually large amount of reverb compared to the rest of the soundtrack.
The Replay theme from Virtua Racing Deluxe. Or at least, a rather spotty recording thereof. This song's existence here is potentially interesting. The game as-is uses a shared short theme for both Replays and the Records screen, which is atypical for the game given that it usually has a dedicated theme for each screen. This therefore could be a placeholder for a dedicated Replay theme, whether an original composition or a remix of Deluxe's theme.
