Lore

This is a sub-page of Ragnarok Online/Changes.

Story changes that were made throughout the lifespan of Ragnarok Online. Typos made in before and after texts are intentional as it is written by Gravity.

For example, in Episode 0, Prontera(named Fontera at the time) had a sign pole next to the fountain giving directions to other cities, including Glast Heim and Geffen that was not available at the time. This was removed due to the shift of making the game a standalone MMORPG rather than strictly following the Manhwa. Glast Heim was later moved to the North-West of Geffen rather than being North of Prontera. Fay was renamed Payon detaching from Iris Irine, instead creating a new storyline for the Archer Village, and the earlier description of Alberta gives insight on why the players could travel to the Sunken Ship. Enriched details of each major city became condensed over time when structuring the text, thus losing a little bit of flavor here and there.
