This is a sub-page of Pokémon Ranger.
Drowzee Guy#
Drowzee Guy is a weird character found on Fiore Temple that allows the player to replay the final battle on Fiore Temple after finishing the main story. However, most of his animations are never seen due to the way he is positioned on the map. What's more interesting is that several animations show him gliding and being carried by Jumpluff. In fact, his file name is watakko_man, which is based on Jumpluff's Japanese name, showing that the developers originally had completely different plans for this character. Jumpluff does not appear in the final game at all.
Early Player Design#
There are two leftover graphics files that have no proper NPC data associated with them and are not referenced anywhere at all. They are found in player/normal.dat and player/boy.dat and contain the exact same contents. These graphics appear to be the original design for the male player character or served as a template for player animations in general. This design is based on the Pokémon Rangers encountered in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. A corresponding file for the female Pokémon Ranger does not seem to exist at all.
Characters#
For some bizarre reason, the files contain a lot of unused NPCs, most of which are famous Pokémon trainers and characters from the franchise. All of them have proper animations and work perfectly fine when loaded into the game. The existence of popular characters may hint at some scrapped cameos or compatibility with other games.

Palettes#
Sometimes, alternate color palettes can be used to increase the variety of distinct characters in the world. Despite this, not all of them are used in the game.
