Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension is a DS game that extends a certain montage in the movie of the same name into a full-fledged 3D platformer game.
Unused Graphics#
Unused Minimaps#
In the folder SubInterface, minimaps for the tutorial map, the tutorial boss, World 1-1, and World 1-2 can be found. These maps may reflect older versions of the maps they correspond to.
Anti-Piracy#
|
|
This page or section needs more videos. |
This game utilizes the DS Protect anti-piracy library to ensure that it is not being run off a flashcart or emulator. If any of the DS Protect checks fail, the jumping rate for the player will be capped at a low value, thus making the game unwinnable.

Hidden "Mode"#
|
|
This needs some investigation.
|
Within the game, there is a "Halloween" mode that changes the character selection on the Touch Screen to depict Phineas, Ferb, and Agent P inside castles, and it also changes Phineas' (and only Phineas') attacks to resemble small pumpkins (these do not affect gameplay). The reason it is hidden is because it seems to turn on automatically if the game detects the month is currently October, though it can be turned on manually in the Options menu and played with year-round. It is unclear if there exist other modes like this in the game, or if they were locked behind the Code Redemption option (which can no longer be used; the official website, along with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection that work with the codes have since been defunct, making them mostly unobtainable in this regard).

Unused Voice Clips#
|
|
This page or section needs more audio. |
There are a number of unused voice clips (created courtesy by the original voice actors from the movie this game was based on, of course) that either mention earlier scenarios or just don't seem to fit anywhere in the final game.

DONT_WORRY |
Here, Candace mentions Baljeet, who is completely absent from the game. He does appear in the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable and Wii versions, however. |
|
HOW_CONTROL |
Here, Candace screams, and wonders how she is supposed to control something. In the movie, she pilots one of Phineas and Ferb's tree house robots during the final battle, but doesn't do so at all in the game. |
|
SEEM_SOFT |
A clip of Candace advising Phineas, Ferb, and Agent P to be careful. It's possible that this was supposed to be used in a cutscene before the player enters the final level of the game, or before any of the bosses. |
|
TURTLE |
Candace asking, "What's the turtle's name, again?". The only turtle in the game is Agent T, who debuts in this game as an unlockable costume. |

HERECOME |
Phineas saying, "Here they come...". Where this would have fit best is unknown. |
|
GETDODGEY |
Phineas saying, "Time to get dodgey!". |
|
HAIRY |
Phineas sighing and saying, "Well, that was hairy." |
|
HEY |
Phineas calling out to Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Had it been used, this clip would be notable for being one of the rare times he calls him that, as opposed to "Dr. D" or "Dr. Doof", like in the actual movie and/or the final game. |
|
CHARGING |
Phineas alerting (the player) of something charging, probably a boss. In the final game, no character talks during any of the boss battles. |

Dr. Doofenshmirtz/2nd Dimension Dr. Doofenshmirtz#

YOUHAVE |
A threat made by Dr. Doof's 2nd Dimension counterpart, referencing the opening cutscene of Zero Wing. He doesn't say this in the final game, only speaking in roughly 3 cutscenes in the entire game. |
|
CURSEYOU |
Dr. Doof saying "Curse you, Perry the Platypus!". Due to the two working together in this game (and the movie it was based on), this clip may sound contradictory, though it could've been intended for his 2nd Dimension counterpart, instead referring to the Platyborg. |
|
Major Monogram#
Some of his clips intended for the tutorial overexplain the controls, while the others seem to just be earlier takes.
