Notes: Descriptions for each map. Some use level abbreviations or items specific to this game.

There are 245 test maps left with data in data_fld_mapid.elf.lz. These include earlier "sketches" of maps, and testing certain interactions and items. As the Map/FldTest/, Sample/ and TST/ directories have been purged from the final release, there is no way to access these.

Some map names appear to have the names of the developers who worked on them:

  • igata is level design lead Shingo Igata
  • kayoko is level designer Kayoko Takamizawa
  • nagaya is art director Masahiko Nagaya
  • tada is event programmer Yoichi Tada
  • tong is programmer Yizheng Tong
  • murakami is event scripter Yusuke Murakami, confirmed by the signature in the map description
  • nakamura could be battle programmer Tomoya Nakamura or character/animation artist Yuichi Nakamura
  • misuzu is programmer Misuzu Yoshida
  • TOSE, ALVION (ALV), Bright Side Studio (BSS), Marino Systems (MARINO), and NEURON are companies that worked on the game, mainly providing environmental art and event scripting

Some other notes:

  • The Cutout feature is referred to as "Paperyze", like in Sticker Star. Its final name, kiritori, is also used in some maps.
  • Mario's house is a test map, when it is only seen in a pre-rendered cutscene in the game's opening. The description is signed "Morikawa", referencing environmental artist Yuta Morikawa.
  • Some areas only have one map, while others have ones that are numbered, often in an incomplete order.
  • Cobalt Base (B4) has test levels for each quiz minigame.

The data_fld_maplink.elf.lz file containing links between areas and maps contains more IDs for links within test maps.
