One Piece: Grand Battle! RUSH is the fourth and final entry in the One Piece: Grand Battle fighting game series, including characters and stages up to the end of the Long Ring Long Land Arc of the anime/manga.
For the English version, 4Kids Entertainment and Bandai heavily cut content to prevent spoilers for western One Piece anime audiences as the dub reached the beginning of Drum Island Arc, resulting in the English version being retitled to One Piece: Grand Battle (not to be confused with the PS1 game) and having most of its content chopped out as a result. A year later Ganbarion and Bandai would release a revision specifically in the west called One Piece Grand Adventure that restored cut content, alongside a new game mode, potentially to address criticism of lack of content, though this is unclear.

As noted above, the overseas release took a hatchet to this game as 4Kids didn't dub the current Arcs at this point:
- Three characters (Enel, Foxy, and Aokiji) and two stages (Maxim and Sexy Foxy) were cut completely.
- The unlock conditions for Mr. 0 Crocodile and Mr. 2 Bon Clay were changed to be locked behind passwords instead of being starting characters. The password feature is completely absent in the Japanese version, and every other unlockable character in the game can also be unlocked via passwords.
- The Alabasta stage was made into a hidden stage instead of a starting stage, unlocked after completing Story Mode with Crocodile.
- All alternate costumes for Nico Robin (dubbed only as "Ms. Sunday" in the 4Kids English version) were removed, leaving her with only her Alabasta costume and its recolor, to avoid spoiling that she'd later be joining the Straw Hat Pirates.
- All of her Story Mode cutscenes, in addition to Chopper's, were also completely written to remove any kind of familiarity with the Straw Hat crew, with her portraits all redrawn to accommodate the fact that the costume she used in her Japanese artwork is now absent.
- Every Straw Hat character had their costumes altered, with their "B" costumes becoming their "A"/default costumes, and their "B" costumes becoming color swaps of their "A" costumes (resulting in the loss of the Skypiea Arc outfits).
- Luffy's Afro Luffy costume was also removed, resulting in the loss of his unique "Gum Gum Cannon" secret attack.
- The Mary Geoise stage (renamed "Eden Rock" in the English release) chopped out all cameos from the Seven Warlords of the Sea (Doflamingo, Mihawk, and Bartholomew Kuma) and the Gorosei, leaving nothing in their place.
- The opening intro which features montage of every canon events from Romance Dawn Arc up until the Long Ring Long Land Arc were replaced by the intro of the 4Kids English dub of the anime but with slightly different lyrics being based on the first rendition of the song.
- The save icon was a model of Afro Luffy. In the English version, Afro Luffy was replaced by Luffy's iconic straw hat.
