The SNES Monopoly is the less-polished counterpart of the Genesis version that released in the same month. Not to be confused with Tomy's Super Famicom version, a Japan-only sequel was released the following year.
Unseen Title Screen Behavior#
In the Genesis version, Rich Uncle Pennybags eventually wraps around the screen if the player waits long enough on the title screen. This behavior is also present in the SNES version, but this is not seen normally outside of PAL consoles due to the game's demo starting before he reaches the leftmost side of the screen. The wrapping behavior is extremely choppy, not splitting all the way from one side to another, which is likely why it's never seen under normal circumstances.

Unused Graphics#
Hands#
The hand graphics when rolling the dice have a few tiles that are obscured from normal gameplay, likely intended that the hand was to stretch a bit further than in the final game. It appears incomplete, hence why it was likely obscured. Additionally, there is notable cutoff on the open hand sprite; more below.
This tile was intended to be placed on the open hand, but does not get used for some reason, resulting in a cutoff. A mockup of the fixed hand sprite is shown below.

Jail#
The first frame of the jail cell has graphics that extend beyond the screen, particularly the cell door. The other frames are cut off from this point forward, likely meaning that the jail was originally placed higher than in the final game. These extended graphics are not present in the Genesis version.
Pennybags has extended leg graphics that goes beyond what the screen normally shows when in jail. Part of the extended legs are present in the Genesis version, although only for the last frame since that version only uses a static background when a player is sent to jail.

Oddities#
The jail animation in-game is shifted six pixels to the left, which wraps around the right of the screen. This error is notable whenever the jail cell is open, as the colors of the cell door on the right changes color. This error is not present in the Genesis version.
