You thought this game won't be coming back here, now? Too bad. Monopoly for the Genesis is basically a counterpart for the SNES version of the game, with significantly more polish and optimized animations.
Unused Graphics#
This tile was intended to be placed on the bottom right of the title screen, but due to a graphics pointer error, it instead points to a corrupted tile. A mockup of the title screen with the unused tile is shown below, and this tile is used in the game's SNES version.

Unused Sounds#
At GEMS track number 13 is a small rattling sound. It is possible that this was to be used when the hand shakes while rolling the dice, as a similar sound effect is heard when the player rolls the dice on the SNES version.

Unused Music#
Located at GEMS track number 1A is this short sinister jingle that does not get used anywhere. It is grouped with the background music for Chance and Community Chest cards, likely intended for cards with a negative outcome. This track is not present on the game's SNES version.
Although this music is normally used when building houses or hotels, it is cut off near the start. The game's SNES version does play the track in full due to the longer animations for buildings, which was heavily shortened in the Genesis version for optimization purposes.
