Unused Houshou Maago/Houshou Maago's Mom's CG#
Within the “Dead”mo version game files lies a CG featuring either Houshou Maago or her mother, named Still_230_01. Based on its proximity in the file structure to another CG,Still_230_02—linked to Houshou Maago's storyline, it is speculated to be used in the first case of the Second Playthrough case to reveal Maago's psychological trauma: likely appearing as the first CG in that sequence.
It could depict Maago's mother, or perhaps Maago's character portrait at her biological father's funeral?
Unused Close-up of the noose for Nikaido Hiro Execution CG#
Before Nikaido Hiro's execution by hanging, the game directly displays her face and a close-up of the noose around her neck just before she is hanged. However, in the “Dead” mo version's game files, there exists a CG that lacks Hiro's face, showing only the noose.
It is reasonable to speculate that this image was originally intended for placement in the earlier segments of Hiro's execution.
Unused Nikaido Hiro's Witches Genocide CG#
In the Bad End of the third playthrough, Hiro transforms into a witch and storms the “Water Spirit Chamber” to seize the ritual sword and Tredkim potion. She then carries out a massacre in the prison under the guise of “redemption,” slaughtering the other eleven witch candidates and guard. Ultimately, she perishes alongside Sakuraba Emma, who has also become a witch.
The original version featured three separate CG scenes depicting Hiro killing each individual. In the “Dead” mo version, however, a single CG scene exists showing Hiro slaughtering everyone, with all the corpses/relics appearing on screen.
