After a big fumble with UbiSoft, Malibu Games finally scored EA a touchdown on the Game Boy.
Sound Effects Menu#
Enter Game Genie codes 051-93F-E62+CF1-9AF-081+761-9BF-083 to access a sound effects menu upon startup. Note that while the menu works on all Game Boy models, it will only display properly on an original Game Boy or Game Boy Color.

There is one more text resource near "SOUND EFFECTS MENU":
MUSIC MENU. Both are selected with the same routine, but only one is used by the Sound Effects Menu itself. Other than not used by any other portions of code and there are no separate code for the Music Menu, both effects and music are currently accessible via the working Sound Effects Menu.
