Unused Graphics#

General/Miscellaneous#

An alternative design for the game's toolbar found in GAMECUBE.DIR.

An illustration of Jimi Hendrix inexplicably appears in CALENDAR.DIR. Doesn't seem to bear any relevance to any particular part of the game.

Boom Box#

An unused background that features completely different buttons on the boom box.

Calendar#

A very early placeholder graphic internally called "JS Calendar".

Another placeholder graphic internally called "blankpage".

Game Box#

A set of placeholder graphics for facedown tiles in the memory match mode that depict the animation that would play when a tile is clicked on. Each graphic is the same size as the in-game tiles, but they use the Knowledge Adventure logo instead of the final release's artwork. Internally, the first image in the set is named "Flip1Start(OLD)" and the last is named "Flip1End(OLD)".

There are three graphics containing early designs for the twelve category icons that appear in the top left corner of the game box. Many of these don't resemble the in-game icons visually and simply share the same themes as those.

Sketch Pad#

A placeholder graphic with an unfinished background with text over it.

An unused background that is much closer to the one seen in the final release. The only noticeable difference is the musical note on the front of the piano, which is absent in the final release.

A cropped version of the music note from the above unused background.

Two more graphics for the music note, internally called "NoteUp" (left) and "NoteDown" (right). This seems to indicate that the player would've been able to interact with the music note by clicking on it.

A graphic simply containing a reminder.

Two images that appear to be screenshots taken during development.
