International Superstar Soccer Deluxe (Genesis)

The Genesis port of International Superstar Soccer Deluxe was released far too late in the console's lifespan for most people not paid to talk about video games to particularly care, so it never had the same cultural cachet as its counterpart on the SNES. If only Factor 5 had been allowed to restore the save functionality Konami cut from the SNES version when converting Fighting Eleven, eh?

Revisional Differences#

Factor 5 replaced Konami's French national team names with a cheeky reference to the staff of Joypad magazine.

Thierry is unchanged in the Euro Stars A and All Stars teams.
