Regional Changes#
Apart from the obvious change of title, the American splash screen has one minute difference: two pixels above the car's right-hand-side mirror changed from grey to sky blue.

Additionally, the default speed measurement was switched from km/h to mph in the US (although both options remained selectable in all versions).
Secret Credits#
One of the buttons in the help screen's labeled diagram of the main menu is actually functional. Clicking the Titus logo there leads to a completely different about box than the "real" Titus button does.
Dithering Options#
Rather than handcraft a set of black and white graphics, the developer initially had players with monochrome displays choose at each launch between five possible pattern-dither algorithms, with the fourth one selected by default.
The five options weren't especially distinct (and neither were the patterned regions they generated), so versions 1.1 and up skip that dialog and just give you its topmost choice, which at least has the fewest distracting pixels crowding the time readout. (The extant copy of version 1.0 only contains the selection dialog in French, but the above English translation exists unused in the later American releases.)
Bug Report#
This dialog's built-in first line was never translated out of French, but its possible second lines (stored in the DATA resource) were. The only other type of issue it covers is an "Error during memory allocation".
