This is a sub-page of Dead or Alive 3.

Please elaborate. |
A DOA3 Booster Disk was distributed via demo discs and via 100%-ing Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate to add the additional costumes from the Japanese version as well as an opening movie, though it did not come with the various gameplay tweaks from the later versions. While this booster was originally intended to be for North America, it also exist in other regions (as said earlier) as a bonus for 100% Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate, although only the installing part is available there.
Compared to the costumes of 3.1 onward, there are some slight differences:
- The alternatives costumes added that are accessible via the press of press of a button are separated in the booster disk (for example, Leon's added costumes).
- Kasumi's costume 5 has the hair down by default instead or a ponytail.
- The buttons to change the hair is adjusted:
-
-
3.0:
-
Y for her hair to be worn in a ponytail or X for her hair to be worn in a braid.
-
3.1 onward:
-
Y to have her hair down or X for her hair to be worn in a braid.
-
3.0:
- Present in the booster disk is a picture representing Leifang's 4th costume (this costume was added via the booster disk and is present by default in 3.1 onward ).
- The booster disk included in Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate lacks the demo of Dead or Alive 3, this might be because you already need to have Hitomi unlocked (as her objects are needed and that character is unlocked via having a savefile of Dead or Alive 3 or Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball).
- Icons of the modes unavailable in the booster are still there.
