Free Movement Mode#

Pressing Select during gameplay will toggle a player state that allows Ruff or Tumble to fly anywhere and disables collision with most entities and objects (aside from the Winks). The player animations pause when this cheat is on.

Unused Text#

(Note that this text is duplicated twice later in the ROM for the French and German scripts, and is completely unchanged.)

Password Characters#

All the password characters can be found at 0x8C46, including vowels, which none of the passwords use nor can be input in the password menu.

Level Names#

Beginning at 0x8C7A a list of level names can be found, likely intended for a level select menu. This text can be seen in-game when the password menu glitches out. Interestingly, the level names are in a different order than in-game, with the Pirate level being 3rd, Underwater being the 5th, and Prehistoric being 6th.
