An English localization prototype of Robotrek was released by Frank Cifaldi on April 27, 2021 as part of his big pile of EPROMs. This prototype still has some elements from the Japanese version.

General Differences#

• The title screen is mostly the same as the Japanese version, complete with the Slapstick logo, but the Japanese text has been removed, the font has been changed to the final US style (though "all rights reserved" is in all-lowercase), and the Nintendo licensing credit has been added.
• The game select screen still has the "SLAPSTICK" sign on top.
