It isn't possible to change execution types via holding down the X or Square buttons as it will always do the same execution animation no matter how long it's held. Therefore this page will compare the executions that resemble the proto's in some way or another, And none of them feature any kind of audio despite that some execution audio for them already existed by then.

Machete/Meat Cleaver#
- The animation's the same as the final, but as with other executions, it doesn't have audio.
Ice Pick#
- The prototype features a unique animation for the Ice Pick, as the final game just reuses all animations from the axe.
Deliverance-Specific Executions#
This level features completely unique animations for the Glass Shard and Wooden Spike.
Glass Shard (Shard Piggsy)#
Wooden Spike#
- This animation in particular was repurposed for the final's Glass Shard and the aftermentioned Wooden Spike, albeit reanimated and with sound.
