This is a sub-page of Proto:Dispatch/Steam Demo.

Unused Graphics#

The following graphics are sorted by the folder they were found in.

Busts#

Unused character busts that would be used in the UI. The "temporary" ones have a blue background. T_UI_Hero_FullBody_Question is used in the full game for unknown callers, which don't appear in the demo.

Callers#

As the name suggests, this is a test icon for a caller on the dispatching map. It can be found in the folder "Callers", alongside the used callers' icons.

TestPortraitCallerPortrait_Man_8

EpisodeArt#

A title card that says "DISPATCH Episode 2" on a dull green background. This could be an early logo for the game. Internally, Episode 2 is referred to as 102, which can be seen in the file's name.

T_EpisodeArt102

FullBody_Transparent#

UI elements used in the dispatching map.

T_UI_Hero_FullBody_NonHero_Chase#

This image of Chase is used in the dispatching map when he speaks, but is zoomed in to be just his face. The full texture shows his model in an A-pose.

T_UI_Hero_FullBody_NonHero_Robert#

A render of Robert's model, also in an A-pose, but cropped to just his upper body. This texture of Robert is used in the same way as the previous image.

T_UI_Hero_FullBody_Speedster#

This unused image appears to be an early icon for the character Pom Pom. It's reminiscent of concept art, and its name implies Speedster was Pom Pom's early alias.

Heroes#

In a folder simply named "Heroes", these unused portraits can be found. They are visibly more "sketchy" than the used hero portraits, again looking similar to concept art.

HeroCard#

These textures are all named "T_UI_Shift_HeroCard_xxx", xxx being the character's name. Coupe is missing from this lineup, as well as Sonar's transformed version.

Sonar

Silhouette_Choice#

These textures are all named "T_UI_HeroPortrait_Silhouette_Choice_xxx", xxx being the character's name. Here, Coupe and transformed Sonar are present. Also, Punch Up's name has a hyphen.

TutorialTempImages#

Temporary tutorial images. These files' names all start with "T_UI_TutorialTemp_".

Alert#

A zoomed-in screenshot of the map with a highlighted building. It likely would've been used to teach the player about receiving calls.

Dispatch#

A screenshot of the info screen of a call. Compared to the in-game version of this screen, the UI is different in numerous ways, including the font, layout, and UI elements. In this screenshot, the text "REFLECTION CAPTURES NEED TO BE REBUILT (1 unbuilt)" is in the top left corner. This is an error message from the Unreal Editor. The top right has the text "Dispatch Alpha 0.14.12-Dev (Editor)" and "Alpha Build", meaning this screenshot was taken from an alpha version of the game.

Unused Texture

In-Game

Upgrade#

A combination of screenshots. It likely would've been used to explain upgrades and XP in the tutorial.

Miscellaneous Textures#

Brick_01_NRM#

A normal texture of bricks.

A placeholder image for the main menu of the demo. In-game, the main menu actually uses a video as the background.

Screenshot_Pause#

This screenshot gives a look into what to expect from the full game's pause menu. Unlike the demo's pause screen, it has an indicator of when you last saved, an indicator that the game is paused (in the top right), and the exit button is now "EXIT TO DESKTOP" instead of "EXIT GAME". It also has the episode's name and number. In the screenshot it's "EPISODE 2", "ROBERT GETS A DONUT", but in the full game, Episode 2 is named "Onboard". The blurred gameplay is of Episode 5, specifically the flashback of Mecha Man fighting Flambae.

In-Game

T_UI_Temp_ScenarioArt#

This image, used as a temporary texture for scenarios, is a screencap from the animated television series Hilda.

water_normal#

A normal texture of water.
