This is a sub-page of Proto:Dark Souls II.

There are placeholders of dialogue for a few characters found within the original release, voiced by one of the developers. Since English is not the speaker's native language, the following dialogues will not be accurate.

Pait (Pate)#

Definitely Pate. Dialogue sounds more like Patches' demeanor from Dark Souls 1 and Demon's Souls.

74400310

Of course I want it for my own, but I smell something uneasy.

74400320

You know? I'm a weak timid man. If there's a strong hollow,
I will be dead before I even wet my pants.

74400330

I know you're strong, so you can handle any hollows, right?
So this time, I'll give you the chance.

74400340

Come on, If there is something awful, run back here
. I'm a man. In that case, I will help you.

74400520

No, it wasn't on purpose! Of course not!

74400530

In fact, you're here just ok.
It wasn't a big deal right?

74400540

Here take this as an apology. It's such an[sic] harsh world,
we should help each other, don't you think?

74409040

All right, all right, if that is what you want!

74409050

I have no other choice! God, how unlucky can I be!

74409060

Shit, just die already!

74409070

Shit, how can it be?

74409080

Huh, well that was close.

Croana the Craftsman (Chloanna)#

Croana is definitely Chloanna because the audio shares the same ID as her (7620). This batch of dialogue was also found in Forest of the Fallen (m10_10_00_00). Unlike Carrion, the dialogues indicate she would have been introduced in the Forest, instead of the beginning of Harvest Valley, in the final version.

Craftsman was probably used instead of craftswoman because both can be translated from 職人 (shokunin).

76200120

You do have some too, don't you? I could give it a tweak so
that it will be easier for you to use.

Using Bag and Belt#

Dialogue

Audio

76200600

Do you understand the usage of the bag and belt?

76200610

You store the things you want to carry in the bag
and the things you want to use right away in the belt.

76200620

If you can't use these to properly,
then you will be doomed soon, ok?

Over-Encumbrance#

76200700

You can use the items in the belt right away,
but it sometimes obstructs your move.

76200710

You know the story of Cuindney the thief? The story he was
caught because he put too much items in his belt and couldn't move because of the weight.

76200720

I have this mind that you might do the same thing…

76201220

Oh, sorry. I hadn't even introduced myself.

76201230

I'm Croana the bag craftsman. I repair bags and belts.

76201240

I'm sorry that I can't afford it free, but as a gratitude,
I will fix your bag so it will be easier to use.

Talking about Spells#

Sound ID

Dialogue

Audio

76600900

The spell will be released by unsealing the power inside the letters.

76600910

If you have the “scroll” with power sealed in it,
it will be easy to release the spell.

76600920

But its power will be week if the sourcerer[sic] is not grounded.

76600930

If you want to handle the spell, improve yourself.

Talking about Spellbooks#

Sound ID

Dialogue

Audio

76601000

If you want to use the power of spell,
you need to store the scrolls in the spell book.

76601010

Spell book is an item that will meditate your power to the scroll.

76601020

A poor book won't store that much spells. If you want
to master the spells, keep your eye on the book's quality.

76601110

She handled the spells well, but was always afraid of something.

76601120

She said she wanted to be independent, so I sent her off…
but never heard from har[sic] since then.

76601130

I wander[sic] what she is doing now.
