The Sims: Livin' Large (released as The Sims: Livin' It Up in the UK) is the first expansion pack for The Sims.
Early and Unused Objects#
Prerelease screenshots for Livin' Large show earlier versions of a number of objects, which include: "Fat Boy" Vinyl Door, The M Table, The M Chair, Antique Four-Poster Bed, The Vibromatic Heart Bed, "Torchemada" Candelabra, Head in Jar Curio, Antique Lamp, The "Concoctanation Station", Liebefuntenmann Piano, and Servo. The front-facing pre-release image of The "Concoctanation Station" is used in the final game, in the small icon that appears when a sim is in a Frankenstein state from a potion. One screenshot shows an entirely unused drink vending machine; one with a completely different design was later made available for download via the official website.

Unused Flooring
Prerelease screenshots from IGN show a rather hideous yellow tile flooring which was fortunately not included in the final expansion.

In a prerelease screenshot, the Antique Lamp Genie text pop-up shows the name of the character using it (in this case, "Hee-Hee") and shows a buy mode catalog image (with a light blue background) of the lamp itself. In the final release, the lamp is shown without a background, and the character's name is not shown.
