Games published by Gathering of Developers

Co-founded by former id Software employee Mike Wilson in 1997, Gathering of Developers (GoD) was formed as a "Developer-run Publisher" under a partnership with eight different game developers including Terminal Reality, 3D Realms and Epic Games. GoD was the first video game publisher that allow developers to retain their intellectual properties.

Take-Two Interactive purchased a stake in the company in 1998, and fully acquired them in 2000. The company's original intentions began to slowly windle down, up the way until 2003 when they rebranded as simply "Gathering" and began publishing mid-budget titles following the closure of T2's Gotham Games label. Gathering was folded into Global Star Software in September 2004, following Take-Two's financial issues at the time.
