Zook Hero Z is an attempt on bringing Mega Man X onto Game Boy Color, some time before Capcom made their own. The Japanese version is also riddled with broken Japanese.
Li Cheng rerelease#
A company called Li Cheng had rereleased both the original Japanese and English releases of the game in Mainland China under the title Rockman DX6 and Rockman DX8. It introduced a number of bugs not found in the original.

To do: |
The original release of the game is copy-protected and would not get past a white screen when loaded on an emulator. The copy-protection scheme is not seen on any dumped Vast Fame original releases before, and due to this, the currently dumped original English release is unplayable.
Presumably for compatibility issues, multicart releases of the game dropped the protection scheme (and for some reason, the Vast Fame copyright).
