Message Test Mode#
At the Takara logo, press Up, B, A, Down, B, A, Left, Right. You'll hear a sound if done correctly. Once the logo fades away, a screen with a number will show up. Press Up or Down to change the value, then press A to display the selected message. Press Start to leave this screen and return to the game.

Unused Logo#
Use Game Genie code 101-06E-C42 to re-enable an unused, animated "THE 4MEGA SHOCK!" logo screen after the "TAKARA" logo at startup. A parody of the "THE 100MEGA SHOCK!" logo present on Neo-Geo games using 100 megabits or higher of cartridge size, this logo was disabled in both regional versions of the game.

The US version of the game removes the Nettou kanji from the title screen and the Super Game Boy border, and shifts things up a bit to make room for the Licensed by Nintendo message. It also appears that the colors applied to the tilemap were not modified when the change was done, so now the upper half of "JET" in the logo is colored red instead of blue.
