World Heroes (Genesis)

The Genesis World Heroes is... not really a port, but a mess of a game that barely resembles the original. Unsurprisingly, it had a troubled development; the original lead programmer Sega tapped to work on this port was a con artist who fled with the money, meaning that to get the game out on time, the bulk of it had to be programmed in a rush by two people who only had access to the assembly code of the original. And while they certainly tried, the results speak for themselves.

After getting any position on the high score list (at least 100,001 points), enter JJJ as your initials to make the picture to the left appear. Going by the credits, the people shown are James Reichert, Jonathan Murfey, and John Lawrence Walsh, three of the game's developers.

The picture will repeatedly scale toward the screen and fade out. This will continue until the console is reset or turned off. (For some reason, pressing Start causes the animation to start over.)
