The Game Gear Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap is the second Wonder Boy game for Sega's 8-bit portable and the fourth game overall in the series. (Numbers have always been Wonder Boy's greatest weakness.)
The screen resolution is severely reduced, but on the positive side the charisma stones have been removed.

Regional Differences#
In Japan the game was released as Monster World II: Dragon no Wana, making it the second entry in the Monster World sub-series rather than the fourth Wonder Boy game, and the title screen reflects that.
