Present in sounds.xml is info about a .WAV file called PERRY_GURGLE.wav. The file isn't present in the final game's files (along with the Perry/Audio/Perry location), and Perry's growl uses a different sound file. The sound file exists in the prototype.
IN TARGET_NDK! MAIN MENU CODE
Present in Android builds of the game executable. TARGET_NDK probably relates to a preprocessor define for the platform.
Debugging Material#
|
|
To do: |
Unlike the other games, debug buttons and widgets cannot be displayed by editing the screen files. They aren't fully stripped from the retail game, but are simply hidden in the native code inside the screen's _finishedLoadingWidgets functions, which can for the most part be easily restored by a single byte edit to make them true instead of false.

In Settings->Profile, there are debugging buttons to log out of Dropbox and clear iCloud.
Version Display#
In Settings->Profile->Reset Game, it is possible to enter 411 on the keypad to get version information to display from Info.plist. Surprisingly, this is left over in all retail builds. Note that doing this on Android builds of the game (like Gameloft) that do not have have that file will crash the game.

The unlock menu offers a checkbox list with a variety of options. Note that it mentions Tri-Ducking instead of Tri-Gnoming, which suggests the code was mostly ported from Where's My Water? with little changes.

Note these buttons are very poorly scaled on small screens. The left asks the user to unlock all IAPs, and the right opens the Unlock Menu.
Unused Music#
OpenLoop_holiday.mp3 is a holiday-themed melody, presumably a leftover from Where's My Holiday?.
Unused Objects#
Converter#
A leftover from Where's My Water?. If hacked in with graphics, It will function like normal. This also appeared in the prototype.
Internal Project Name#
The game is internally called Perry Concept12 or Perry Game3, with or without spaces.
