To add items with an entity to your inventory type give [entity] in the console.
Ranged Weapons#
Dragon's Breath#
A double-barreled shotgun, presumably loaded with some sort of incendiary rounds. Only remnants are an icon and references in strings_internal.txt (dbs) and particleimpacttable.txt (dragons_breath).
SWAT Sniper Rifle#
Entity: item_w_rem_m_700_bach
A SWAT version of the Remington 700 used by Bach. Once meant to be usable by the player.
This is a standard tactical rifle most commonly employed by SWAT teams. It features a 20X Scope to pick off beads of sweat off the target's forehead.

Flaming Crossbow#
Entity: item_w_crossbow_flaming Used by Ming guards against the player. Once intended to be used by the player, if the unique icon is anything to go by.
LAW Rocket Launcher#
Only remnants of this item are an inventory icon and some particles.
Dual Pistols#
Has an inventory icon, is referenced in strings_internal.txt as DualPistol and in particleimpacttable.txt as dual_pistols, and possibly in Zhao's unused reload animation where he reloads two pistols.
Striker#
Only remnants are an icon, and references in strings_internal.txt (stryker) and particleimpacttable.txt (striker).
Smith and Wesson M64#
Only remnants are an icon and references in strings_internal.txt (Smith) and particleimpacttable.txt (sw_m64). Likely replaced by the .38 Revolver. This icon, the UZI placeholder for the Stake Launcher, the P220S and, Panic Rifle icons are similar to the weapon icons used in Half-Life 2.
Sig P220#
Only remnants are an icon and references in strings_internal.txt (P220S) and particleimpacttable.txt (sig_p220). Likely replaced by the Desert Eagle.
Panic Rifle#
Only remnants are an icon and a reference in particleimpacttable.txt as panic_rifle.
Stake Launcher#
The only remnants of the Stake Launcher are an icon, a placeholder icon which shows an UZI, some particles, and a reference in strings_internal.txt as stakelauncher.
Enfield Rifle#
The only remnants left of this rifle are third person animations and a reference in strings_internal.txt as enfield.
Melee Weapons#
Stake#
Item is used for a quest instead. Has third person animations, a weapondata file and references in strings_internal.txt, particleimpacttable.txt, and sndcheme_char.txt.
Tal'mahe'Ra Blade#
The Tal'mahe'Ra Blade was likely included in the final game by mistake. It's WeaponData file points to placeholders sounds which do not exist, and it's in-game placement is rather sloppy with it pointing straight up next to 4 perfectly placed guns.
This sword was forged by the Tal'mahe'Ra, a vanished sect of Kindred that purportedly ventured into the lands of the dead. It seems unaturally light and attacks twice as fast as a normal blade.
Straight Razor#
Only exists as references in strings_internal.txt as razor and in particleimpacttable.txt as straight_razor.
Thrown Weapons#
Fragmentation Grenade#
Entity: item_w_grenade_frag
The weapon still gets used in a player-inaccessible form in the Bach boss fight. WeaponData file. View model. Ground and inventory models.
Pull pin for fun and profit.

Throwing Star#
Has a projectile, a weapondata file and third person animations.
When you wish upon a throwing star, you wish you had infomodel, wieldmodels and a projectile model so you could finish implemented the damn thing.

Concussion Grenade#
Referenced in Vampire.dll and particleimpacttable.txt as grenade_concussion.
Smoke Grenade#
Referenced in Vampire.dll and particleimpacttable.txt as grenade_smoke.
Molotov#
Referenced in Vampire.dll. Possibly a remnant from Half-Life 2's development.
Occult Items#
Occult Celerity#
In traiteffects000.txt there exists a commented-out effect for an occult celerity item. Nothing else exists.
Odious Chalice#
Despite the Odious Chalice itself not being cut. There's a squished model referenced in the WeaponData file. Most likely intended to be used when the item is empty.

Key of Alamut#
The item itself is not unused, however it's entity name item_p_occult_presence and it's effect Item (Occult Presence) hint that it originally affected the Presence discipline.
Heart of Eliza#
The item itself is not unused, however it's entity name item_p_occult_strength and it's effect Item (Occult Strength) hint that it originally gave a strength buff instead of melee.
Occult Hacking Item#
Entity: item_p_occult_hacking
Has a WeaponData file. Gives a functional buff to wits.
Blah blah, hacking buff
Occult Lockipicking Item#
Entity: item_p_occult_lockpicking
Has a WeaponData file. Gives a functional buff to security.
Blah blah, lockpicking buff
Zharalketh#
Entity: item_p_occult_obfuscate
WeaponData file. Models and textures. Functional buff. Only thing missing is in-game placement.
Sliding on this ring you feel the same stomach-dropping sensation you had when you first invoked Obfuscate. As long as you wear Zharalketh you will be able to maintain Obfuscate longer.

Occult Braid#
Only a model exists, with its name being the only hint to its usage as an occult item.

Armor#
5th Armor Tier#
clandoc000.txt has model path definitions("M_Body5"/"F_Body5") for a 5th tier of armor which go unused. The model paths are identical to 4th and 5th tier armors. Additionally, every clan has a copy of a placeholder icon for a 5th tier armor stored alongside the used icons.
Flak Jacket#
Only exists as an unused stat in traiteffects000.txt, is set up to have an armor rating of 4 and a dexterity debuff of 2. Identical to the final tier of armor in the final game. Either an alternative version of the tier, or intended to be used for the cut multiplayer mode.
Riot Gear#
Exists as an unused stat in traiteffects000.txt, is set up to have an armor rating of 5 and a dexterity debuff of 3. Likely intended to be used for the unused 5th tier armors.
Miscellaneous Items#
Written Item#
Entity: item_i_written
An item whose WeaponData file notably got used as the template for many others.
Jumbles Flyer#
Entity: item_g_jumbles_flyer
An unused copy of the Brotherhood of the 9th circle flier. The text is different, and the unused version points to a non-existent model.
Unused version of the text:
The writing below the symbol says 'I am Enlightened!
Used version:
The writing on this flyer reads 'I am Enlightened'
CD-Rom#
Entity: item_g_garys_cd
Near identical copy of Bertram's CD used in the quest Missing Data.
There's an illegible handwritten label. Looks like a data CD.
Vacuum Tubes#
A box of vacuum tubes with ground and inventory models.

Name Plate#
Fancy nameplate with ground and inventory models.

Pull Toy#
A pull toy with an icon, models and a bare bones WeaponData file.

Locket#
This item has an WeaponData file, an icon, ground and inventory models. As the item is defined to be undroppable and worthless, it's likely an earlier version of the pendant used in "The Ghost Haunts at Midnight". The item's description even mentions unnatural heat which would make sense as the hotel got set on fire. The diary you find in Ocean House's kitchen mentions a locket, however.
This locket is old and slightly tarnished. It might be your imagination, but it seems to radiate an unnatural heat.
Serial Killer Ring 1#
Entity: item_g_ring_serial_killer_1
Has a WeaponData file. Most likely tied to an earlier version of the side quest "Carnival of Death".
This looks to be a class ring.... for the SERIEL KILLAH! #1
Serial Killer Ring 2#
Has a WeaponData file. Essentially a duplicate of the first ring. Does not have an entity.
This looks to be a class ring.... for the SERIEL KILLAH! #2
Chewing Gum#
Has an WeaponData file which is a slight edit of the one for Gallery Noir's Charity Money. Has an icon and models.
Pearl of Dubai#
Item which only exists in the form of an icon, and models for the inventory and ground. The inventory version notably has no backside. In E3 2003 demonstration screenshots a pearl is mentioned as a part of a quest which evolved into Slashterpiece. This is most likely the original use for this item.

Keys#
Generic Key#
Entity: item_k_key_generic
A generic key item which only exists as an entity. May have been used as a template item for most, if not all key items.
Beckett key#
A model and an icon exist for an L.A. Public Library key. Tied to a cut quest involving Beckett.
