Tyrannosaurus Tex

This game was never completed and/or given a public release.
As a result of this, keep in mind that the developers might have used or deleted some of the content featured here, had the game actually been released.

Tyrannosaurus Tex was an ambitious project to bring a first-person shooter to the Game Boy Color. The game, which was to be published by Eidos, had a complicated development cycle. Despite reportedly being finished, Eidos changed their mind and backed out.

The high cost of producing the 16-megabit cartridges for the game, combined with the fact that this was a new IP, made other publishers wary of picking up the rights. The final nail in the coffin came when the game's programmer suddenly left the country, leaving the rest of the dev team with a copy of the source code which they couldn't compile.

An early prototype was found in late 2012.
