To do:
Make a Prerelease page documenting the changes found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nD9H6__29A.

to a T is a game created by Keita Takahashi, the creator of the Katamari series. You're a teen that always T-poses, with a little help from your dog.

Needless to say, their pose doesn't assert any sort of dominance.

Unused Graphics#

Some unused color textures can be found in Project_T\Content\Uvula\Art\Prototype\Textures, among other folders. They were most likely utilized before to a T switched from Unity to Unreal Engine,3 as Wattam (another Unity game) also used a similar color map.

Unused Icons#

The Windows version has save icons that go unused in Project_T\Content\TFBGames\Icons\PlayStation.

Unused Test Model#

In Developers/Oliver/Meshes, there is a Test_lionhead UAsset which contains a lion head, likely an early version of the Drooling Lion statue seen in the final game.

Leftover Text#

There is leftover placeholder text found inside Project_T/Content/Localization/Game/en.

Early Character Name#

  • The character Bob is referred to as "Chaser" within the game's files. It is possible that "Chaser" was an early name for the character but was changed due to its connotations in slang.

Unused Giraffe Characters#

In the game, there are four giraffes, each one selling a different kind of food (sandwiches, ice cream, popcorn, and grilled corn). However, there are models and graphics within the files for a donut giraffe and an udon giraffe.

The models for the giraffes can be found in Project_T/Content/Uvula/Characters/Giraffe/Meshes. These meshes are labeled Giraffe_Donuts and Giraffe_UdonNoodles respectively.

Icons for the giraffes, clearly intended for the minimap, can be found in Project_T/Content/Uvula/UI/Minimap.

It's not clear how far along in production these two giraffes lasted before being cut or replaced (likely by one of the corn-adjacent giraffes). It can be theorized that the udon giraffe lasted longer, as there are materials for her udon shop, and the song "PerfecT Shape" mentions "ice cream, noodles, and sandwiches" as the three favorite foods.

Codename#

According to the assets folder for the game files, the game is codenamed "Project T".
