The Chessmaster comes to the NES, bringing some solid chess gameplay to the platform.

Unused Graphics#

This needs some investigation. Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page. Specifically: Is this tied to some kind of hidden easter egg? This game isn't well documented, being a boring chess simulator and all.

The last CHR bank in the ROM contains an alternate title logo which calls the game "The Chessmonster"...

...Alongside a suitably monstrous devil graphic! It's unknown if a proper palette and/or tilemap exists for either of these.
