Kabuki of Tengai Makyou II: Manjimaru was so popular that he got to star in his own spin-off. The result, which has more emphasis on comedy and is a much more streamlined yet rich adventure, is considered one of the best titles (alongside its predecessor, one of the all-time best RPGs) on the PC Engine, with many animated sequences pushing the hardware to its limits.

Please elaborate. |
This requires having a save just before the final boss. After the ending scenes and credits are over, a screen with a big white "END" kanji over curtains should appear. Press I and you should hear a sound.
Reload the save file, and go to the room with three treasure chests. The northeast corner will now have an invisible hole leading to the Dharma Cat Hall, a debug room of sorts where you can check all the music tracks, cinemas, and minigames.
