Regional Differences#

  • The Japanese version adds a logo screen for ASCII Corporation before the Acclaim logo. It has the same gradient animation on the top and bottom as the Acclaim logo in the English version, and the Acclaim logo shows with the blue gradients already in place.
  • Mutoid Man and the Evil MC fire their lasers/eyeballs nearly constantly in the US version in phases where their heads are exposed. In the Japanese and European versions, they fire much less frequently until their final phase.
