FINDEMO.img#

An image with 'End of the Demo' written on it, with the Stupid Invaders logo in the background, is used in the demo when you finish testing it. However, in the final game, it remains in the image files but is not used.

INTRO01.img#

The first image of the introduction is used only in the demo and not in the final version, although it remains in the image folder.

INTRO02.img#

An image with the Stupid Invaders logo, similar to the 'findemo.img' image, is always used after the first introductory image in the demo. However, in the final version, it remains unused.

In the Paste Bros level, in the room with the cow dung statues, there’s a section of the room that you can't enter or walk through. It would have led to a chandelier and windows with closed metal bars in a horizontal pattern. It’s unclear what you were supposed to do in this room, but you definitely had to collect something.

b15v06.img#

A close-up image of the television found in the Paste Bros level. This image isn't used in the final game because you can’t view the TV up close; you can only turn it on and off. Additionally, the TV was supposed to play a video of many people in an old, brownish quality, but in the final game, it plays a animated kid's cartoon video instead.

This image shows the kitchen drawer open and empty. It is found among the game’s image files but is never used in gameplay. After the player takes the lighter from the drawer, it is no longer possible to examine the drawer up close, so this empty drawer image is never shown again during the game.

a05v05.img#

This image shows the balcony of the aliens house, but it is not an accessible area in the game. The player cannot reach or interact with this balcony, so the image remains unused during gameplay.

a14v03.img#

This image shows the view from the alien house balcony, looking down into the yard below. However, the player cannot access the balcony in the game, so this image is never used during gameplay and remains unused content.

B25v04.img#

This image shows a green, sand-like floor with two small rocks, apparently intended to represent the bottom of an aquarium. It originates from the aquarium room, but it is never used in the final game. Its exact intended purpose remains unknown.

a08v04.img#

This image shows the living room area where Bud’s blue armchair is located. While this part of the room is visible in the game, it is never shown from this specific front-facing perspective during normal gameplay. The angle suggests it may have been intended for a closer or alternate interaction, but the player cannot access this view directly.

a09v04.img#

This image shows an unused view of the side of the roof, including the small cracked window. This location is not accessible during gameplay, and the angle is never shown in cutscenes either. It was likely created for a scene or camera transition that was ultimately scrapped.

This pre-rendered image shows Nelson, the man in the pink rabbit suit, lying face-down in his bed. It appears in a short FMV cutscene where Candy opens the door too loudly, waking him up However, this specific still image is not used anywhere in the actual gameplay, making it unused outside of the video sequence.

A18V05.jmg#

A18V05.img (used in PC version)

A18V05.jmg (used in Dreamcast version, unused in PC)

A18V05.jmg is an earlier close-up image of the library bookshelf. It remains in the PC version files but is unused. The PC version uses A18V05.img, which is the updated and final image. Strangely, the older A18V05.jmg image is used in the Dreamcast version.

  • The PC version shows more detailed and sharp textures on the books and wooden shelves, while the unused version presents slightly simpler and less defined textures.
  • The PC image has superior resolution with clearer details, while the unused one appears slightly more pixelated.
  • The PC version seems to have a more sophisticated lighting system with more accurate shadows and reflections, particularly visible on the star globe and book surfaces
  • The PC version presents more vivid colors and better contrast, while the unused version has slightly flatter tones.
  • The titles on the book spines are more readable and defined in the PC version.

Dreamcast Version#

Unused Voices#

These audio files come from the CD1 of the Dreamcast version.

Bud: "*sounds of egregious dumping* Man's best invention, besides the TV, of course."
It was probably meant to be used when Bud uses the toilet and takes a dump, but in the game, a different audio is used.

Bud: "Occupied!"
Bud yelling something.

Bud: "I am never eating at Chili John's again! I suggest you find another facility; This one's condemned. *more sounds of dumping*"
The audio used when Bud takes a dump has a part that isn't heard in the game after 'again'.
