Sprint 2 is the first game of the Sprint series (the "2" instead referring to the fact that two people can play simultaneously, which in this case is a requirement), which quickly become a major hit in the arcades and spawned numerous sequels. Fun and speed are guaranteed!
Revisional Differences#
Two years later, Atari released Sprint 1, which is nothing more than a single-player version of the original.

- The "KEE GAMES" was positioned a bit lower in Sprint 1.
- "1 COIN PER PLAYER" was changed to "1 COIN PER GAME" and moved to the bottom of the screen.
- "12 DIFFERENT TRACKS" was changed to "TRACKS CHANGE AUTOMATICALLY" to reflect the new behavior explained in the gameplay section.
- "GREY CARS DRIVE AUTOMATICALLY" was changed to an awkward/questionable "BLACK CARS DRIVE AUTOMATICALLY" (while in Sprint 1 the black car is exclusively controlled by the CPU, the other two cars are grey and not black). The text's position was changed as well.
Gameplay#
- In Sprint 2 you can choose in which track you want to play. In Sprint 1 this is no longer possible, as tracks change automatically every two laps.
