To do:
Is MAKINGOF.STR unused? Because there's no mention of this file on the Internet. (Source: Decension)

Stuff for a prerelease page:

  • These three press CDs (especially the first one) contain a treasure trove of prerelease info, including multiple early HUDs, a huge amount of concept art, and artwork from multiple cut levels:

  • E3 Show Daily 1995, Day 3 has a single prerelease screenshot, and confirms that a full sci-fi world was planned.
  • E3: The Video shows footage of the game from 48:22 to 49:06. The accompanying notes mention that the game was "show(sic) on Sony".
  • E3: The Video '96 shows footage of the game from 12:08 to 12:37. The accompanying notes imply that it's footage of the Saturn version, but the video's annotations imply that it's footage of the PlayStation version.

The... sequel? Remake? Alternate retelling? ...of the Genesis original, featuring better graphics, better music, and worse review scores. This, along with the Sega Saturn version, would end up being Spot's last video game... and, for that matter, his last appearance in any official media.
